Drifters in Tonga & Samoa

Drifters data were collected by Oceanly Science Ltd under Inkfish, and I was tasked with general QAQC and analysis including particles projections. The particles projections were done using parcels and the North & Eastward current velocities and winds, both datasets available on Copernicus. The QAQC inlcuded flagging eroneous locations, anomalous speed, kinetic energy and eddy kinetic energy using formulas from Siji and Pattiaratchi, (2025).
