About me
Kia Ora/Welcome. I am Alexandre Lheriau-Nice, a research fellow at Oceanly Science Ltd. I specialise in biological oceanography and remote sensing using satellite acquisition. Python and R are my main tools.
I did my Ph.D. (currently waiting for my defence) at the IMS, of the University of Auckland. I studied the bio-physical coupling in the Hauraki Gulf. I did so by dissecting datasets from satellites and fisheries. My supervisors were Dr. Alwyn Rees and Dr. Alice Della Penna.
